What happens when you analyze a photo

When you choose a photo and press Analyze, the photo and any context you typed are sent from your browser to the Animal Says Hi Worker, then to the Qomza Gateway, then to a configured AI provider that produces the result.

Qomza Gateway archives complete non-secret requests, results, media, and diagnostics. These records are not automatically deleted; they remain until the Gateway operator removes them.

The Worker forwards your connecting IP address, as provided by Cloudflare, on a trusted path to the Gateway.

What stays on your device

Your discovery history, bookmarks, and feedback drafts are stored only in your browser (IndexedDB and local storage) on this device. There are no accounts, and nothing is synced to another device.

Clearing your browser data or using Settings → Clear local data removes the history and drafts on this device only. It does not recall or delete server-side records already sent to the Gateway.

Browsers may evict local data under storage pressure, so treat your history as a convenience, not permanent storage.

What we do not do

Animal Says Hi currently installs no optional analytics or advertising trackers. There are no accounts, no logins, and no third-party advertising cookies.

Cloudflare hosts this site and may keep operational and security logs separately from the Gateway records described above. We make no promise here about how long those hosting logs are kept or when they are deleted.

Requests and contact

To ask about or request deletion of server-side records associated with a request, email hello@qomza.com and include the request ID shown with your result if you have it.

Questions or requests: email hello@qomza.com (Qomza).
